Here’s the second part of the recommendations. You can find the first part here! Like I said before, this is a variety of Korean hiphop/rap artists to help you get started if you’re a fan of Kpop idol rappers like GD&TOP and are new to the Khiphop genre.
If you like GD&TOP, Zico, Bang Yongguk, or Tablo, but are kind of new to the Korean hip-hop/rap world, I have some recommendations for you to get started, (I’ll do another part and link it here later)-
The artist this time is… Primary/프라이머리 When thinking about Primary’s music, one word comes to mind: smooth. Even if he uses a rapper, (which is most of the time), or if he uses a funky beat, it still sounds smooth. I guess it’s a jazz-hip-hop fusion sound most of the time.
The artist this time is… Younha Younha is a piano-rock Korean artist, who debuted in Japan and then moved on to promote in Korea. She’s somebody that everyone who listens to Kpop should know about.
It’s just been revealed that G-Dragon’s mini album will have collaborations with Tablo and Kim Jong Wan of Nell! Furthermore, his title track “Crayon” is a shortened version of “Crazy On” which is also a shortened version of “Crazy G-Dragon”. Obviously, he’s going to be going crazy for something in the song. Which track are…
The artist this time is… Nell Nell is the name of a Korean “Indie” group, not an individual person. There are four guys in this group and the band has been around since 1999. This band was picked up by Kpop legend Seo Taiji in 2002.
Here is my personal all-season Weekend Night playlist~ I prefer listening to this while driving around at night with a carefree, but somewhat moody, feeling. It’s hard to describe, haha. It’s kind of like you know you’re making memories for future nostalgia :D It starts fun, but in the end, it ends with that feeling.
