Rubber Duckie

Rubber Duckie (러버더키) is a true band formed by two friends in highschool. Their goal is to become just as popular as idol groups, and while that may be a difficult task, they are reportedly popular in the Seoul area!

Beginning

It all started in 2004 with Baemi and Jia. They created the band while they were in highschool. However, after only one year, in 2005, the band broke-up. Seeing as they all have college degrees, I’m going to assume they wanted to focus on their studies first.

They picked it up again five years later, in 2009, and were joined by drummer Baeki. After that, the “officially” debuted in 2010.

Unfortunately, right before the release of their first album, Baeki left and was replaced by Sunny.
