Well, we’re into July now, and where I live, this is about the middle of summer.
So here’s my personal summer playlist! It always puts me in a good mood on the way to the lake or any other summer destination.

A few songs are actually Japanese but I added them anyway just because they’re essential summer songs for me. But since the majority of the list is Korean, I just labeled it as Kpop, haha…. Oh, and since it is a personal list, it might be a bit biased, (and some might show up again in another personal list I’m planning later on, heh).

Miyavi – Ashita, Genki ni Naare
This actually feels like an early summer/spring song to me. But I’m putting it here because it’s nice to relax to on a cool day.

nobodyknows+ – Kokoro Odoru
When I first heard this song, it was summer. I played it almost every day that year and never got tired of it. Therefore, it belongs on this list.

SM Town – Hello! Summer
No summer is complete without having listened to this song at least once!

Whale & JoKwon – Dunk Shoot
Perfect for singing along to while driving on a summer day. The lyrics talk about how “yabalabahiya” is a magic word that makes your wishes come true.

Popsicle – I’ll Love You Until It Snows In Summer
This is a cute and relaxing song~

SM Town – Summer In Dream
Kind of a companion song to Hello! Summer.
Ah~ Jaewon… *sigh*

Lee Jung – Summer Holidays
A nice change of pace in rhythm.

FT Island – Don Quixote’s Song
I love singing out loud to this song in the car! The lyrics are an anthem to hope and making life your own.
