Well, I was a deprived First Generation American Kpop fan. I’m sure there were others out there who were able to read Korean, or lucky enough to find the original Soompi, (which supposedly came out in 1998. I never found it, unless it was one of those sites that sorely lacked the info I was after at the time, lol), but my 2001 fan days were full of struggles.
(Something important to note: I didn’t even know of the term “Kpop” until about 2010. To me, it was just “Korean music.”)
Imagine being a Kpop fan with no video sites, no communities like tumblr, and no news/info sites.
Imagine knowing of no other English-speaking Kpop fan anywhere besides the random fan site you run into once in awhile.
Here, I’ll tell you about my experiences….
Notable comebacks this week are: Shinhwa, Swings, and Seo In Young.
Debuts include boy group, ATTACK, Z.HERA, and Peernine.

Meanwhile, the hotel she works for is trying to buy out the area for their resort. This includes her house, which is full of family memories for her and her grandfather. They can’t give it up.
She doesn’t know it, but the two brothers are actually sons of the hotel’s president….
Sora breaks up with Tae-pong but then a certain truth is found out.
Sora finally finds out about Tae-hyun’s lies… but then finds out a fact that will break her and Tae-pong up for good…!
Tae-pong is still trying to save Sora’s hotel though she hates him, while Tae-hyun refuses to care about what Sora wants.
Sora believes Tae-pong is to blame for taking away their motel.
He tries desperately to save it since it’s the only way she’ll believe in him.
