31 July: New Korean MVs

This week had a lot of good music, just like last week! The highlight for me was Lee Jung Hyun’s comeback! (I was waiting forever, haha!). Also, EXO, f(x), Brown Eyed Girls, and MIB. Koyote, AOA, Kim Hyun Joong, and AA finally came back as well.
New debuts included Kang Seung Yoon, Say Yes, Lee Yu Rim, and Queen B’Z.

Sorry there’s so much this time… since I’m trying to get caught up again, this is over a week’s worth of new releases! I wouldn’t doubt it if I missed some too, since it starts getting hard for me to keep track when it’s more than a week ago, (yeah, I don’t have a very good system in place yet, haha.). I think I got most of my usual YouTube channels though!

HISTORY: New Kpop Group

The new boy group, History, surprised us.

Their teasers were so unique, that we assumed their music couldn’t be anything special… after all, the teasers weren’t exactly focusing on their music, right?

Well, their new MV came out, and now we’re more interested than before. It was fresh-sounding. Their vocals were great. The dancing and expressions were exaggerated, but it was perfect for the stage setting, which made them look like Broadway performers.

Thoughts on Psy’s New MV “Gentleman”

Last night Psy released his new music video, and, like people expected, it’s a follow-up to Gangnam Style.

I listened to the leak of this new song, called “Gentleman”, before the MV came out for it. Actually, it was better than I was expecting. It’s pretty catchy and seems to be some kind of cross between “Gangnam Style” and the “Harlem Shake”.
